VAHLER project: Recycling products from beech trees in decline
The VALHER (Valorisation des produits issus de l’exploitation des hêtres dépérissant) project, led by FCBA and organised by FIBOIS Bourgogne-Franche-Comté and FIBOIS Grand Est, began in 2022. Its aim is to characterise wood products from beech trees that are dying. It will provide additional knowledge to professionals who are increasingly faced with the problem of how to use beech wood from health cuts.
