Certification attests that the quality and performance of products or services have been validated by an independent and accredited body. The certification criteria are defined in a reference framework recognised and accepted by all parties concerned: companies, users, consumers, experts and administrations. Each certification results in a mark (NF, CTB, PEFC, FSC®…) identified by a logo on products or commercial documents;

FCBA, certification body is accredited by the COFRAC (Certification of Products and Services n° 5-0011 and certification of Persons n° 4-0029, scopes available on www.cofrac.fr)
In the field of wood construction, primary processing and furniture, FCBA issues product certifications under the CTB and NF marks on behalf of AFNOR Certification as well as individual certifications under the CTB mark.
